Pan Fried Falafel
As tasty as deep fried but with less oil

Baked falafel is catered for a more healthy choice; deep fried falafel is catered towards a more tasey alternative.

Pan fried falafel augments both advantages to an ultimate choice - as tasty as deep fried but with much less oil, hence more nuritious.

The drawbacks are a two though trivial:
* As it is imperative to pan fry the falafel on a low flame, it takes about 10 minutes to cook the falafel while it takes only 2-3 minutes to deep fry it.
* Pan fried falafel patties are not as firm as deep fried where the oil seals them somewhat better. It may not be so important but it is worth mentioning.

In addition to great taste, since pan fried falafel requires less oil it is more economical for home cooking, particularly for falafel burgers where a large fryer may be required.

The best way to pan fry is to first brush the uncooked frozen falafel shape (be it round or any other shape) with cooking oil (Mazola, vegetable, or corn oil).
